Dr. Guentter completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Pittsburgh, and holds BS degrees in biology and psychology. He graduated from SUNY University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, where he completed an externship at the Dental Medicine Urgent Care Clinic, administering emergency dental care to underprivileged patients. While in dental school, he pursued several elective courses in which he had an interest, including in laser, emergency, forensic, and sports dentistry. Prior to joining Dr. Scarazzo's team, Dr. Guentter was the sole dentist in an office performing general dentistry, including mini dental implant surgery and restoration, dental implant restorations, crown and bridge restorative work, scaling/root planning, root canal therapy including molars and extractions. Dr. Guentter works with the North Penn School District, performing dental health exams for students throughout the district, and is also a member of the American Dental Association. Dr. Guentter resides in North Wales, PA with his wife and two children. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, taking his rescue dog on walks, tending to his backyard chickens, fishing, and hunting.
